Lesley Hawke

Coach Hawke has been involved with the WBLGN as an ambassador for several years and is a staunch advocate for women in sport and athlete mental health. She is an experienced lacrosse coach in both box and field and is the owner and head coach of Hawke Lacrosse in Alberta, Canada.

Coach Hawke has produced numerous championship teams in lacrosse over the course of her coaching career, both in Alberta and Ontario. She has won numerous awards for coaching excellence including the Spirit of Excellence Award presented by the Honourable Lois Mitchell, Lieutenant Governor of Alberta in 2019 and the OLA Coach of the Year award in 2003, 2004, and 2005.

 Coach Hawke is the current Athlete Director with Lacrosse Canada and a member of the CLHOF Board of Directors. She jumped at the opportunity to be part of our first all-female coaching staff for the upcoming SheBox tournament in Prague this coming April!


Jenn Culp 

Coach Culp started playing box lacrosse at the age of 5 for the Arthur Aces in Ontario, Canada, and, due to injury issues, had to end her box career after her years of playing with the Arthur Aces Senior Women’s of the WMSL. It was during this time that she was a member of a Ontario Provincial Championship winning team.

After retiring from her playing career, Coach Culp continued on in box lacrosse to coach in Arthur, Ontario. After 5 years of coaching, she joined the Arthur Minor Lacrosse Executive Board, where she holds the position of Vice President.

Coach Culp is passionate about growing lacrosse and especially girls box lacrosse. She is very excited to be able to expand her horizons as a coach with the Women’s Box Lacrosse Global Network, and cannot wait to see what the team can achieve at SheBox in Prague! 


Haley Price

 

   

Coach Price is a Canadian born player and has played the entirety of her 25-year career as an Arthur Ace out of Arthur, Ontario. She has also competed as a member of Team Ontario’s Midget, Junior and Senior Women’s Box lacrosse programs, bringing home 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal over the years.

 

Coach Price is a WBLGN ambassador, currently playing in the WMSL and WALL East box lacrosse divisions out of Ontario, and was a member of the WGBLN team in Utica, NY,  in Sept 2023.

 

In addition to playing box, Coach Price has taken on various coaching roles in box lacrosse in her hometown, working with the U15, U17 and U22 girl's teams. Last summer she coached with the Team Ontario Junior Women’s Box lacrosse program. 

Box lacrosse has been her passion for many years and she is excited to coach as a member of the Women’s Box Lacrosse Global Network team at SheBox 2024.
